10 things about myself

Ok, off the top of my head without thinking too much into it, here goes, 10 facts about me...

1. I am a Leo.

2. I like, make that love book shops.

3. I make lists, lots of them, pretty much daily. My iPhone is full of them.

4. I was pregnant at 16, 18, 21 and 30.

5. I trained as a nurse and fell pregnant in my last term so have yet to be a 'practicing nurse'.

6. I am indecisive.

7. I am a terrible singer.

8. I love charity shops and car boot sales to the point my children beg me not to go in because they know I'll spend way too much time rummaging through stuff. 

9. I just learnt to crochet.  

10. I am obsessed with rearranging my furniture.

*so there you go, maybe I'll do another list when thinking of all the things I've left out or wish I'd have put instead which I know is going to happen (see fact 6.) For now I hope I've given a little bit about myself ;)

Yesterday I wrote a reflective paragraph about me writing an 'about me' post which I really do intend to do soon! However today is not that day.

Today I've had lots of children to amuse on the last days of the summer holidays.

Today I've spent the day mostly alone (minus the lots of children, 6 in total).

Today I've had a teething baby.

Today I am tired.

Today I am only human.

Today I am saying goodnight.

Until tomorrow becomes another today this is me, here I is, tired and all...

On keeping at it

I'm guessing whenever someone starts a blog although they feel they have something to say or show there is a fine line between saying too much and not saying enough.  Trying to hone down what exactly you want to include and fine tuning themes isn't as easy as I'd first thought and this I am starting to think is what has put me off continuing in the past.

To do's include information about me and the things I like to do when I'm not chasing after four children, two dogs and a grumpy Persian cat!  So I guess I could say an 'About me' post is coming soon!

Excuse me if I am only testing the waters right now, I am enjoying publishing little snippets of my world and hope that anyone reading this will also march on in anything they decide to do right now despite starting out taking small steps ;)

Saturday snapshots

Nelly is 9 months!! Woah! Where did the time go... 

P.s. check out her crochet headband (made by moi!) I know it's simple and basic BUT I'm pleased I've made something of use! Also if anyone out there is wondering about the colours in her hair it's just soft pastels for a bit of fun as I was streaking Kitty's (her big sisters) hair, it combs/washes out easily I promise!
